Environment Setup

Environment setup is the first step to start the programming in java, after downloading and installing the java software . If you do not have the java software it can be downloaded from here:

To run java programs , setup can be set by two different ways:

2. Permanent (Recommended) .

Temporary-> for particular location.

To setup temporary environment, enter on command prompt like this: 1. Open the command prompt of your computer
2. Copy the path of jdk/bin directory from C drive
the path should be like this:

 C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_05\bin
3. then write on command prompt: set path=copied_path

Permanent (Recommended) .

The steps for setup the working environment is given below .please see and read carefully:

1. Right click on my computer from desktop .
2. Then select the Advance system settings from bottom left .
3. Click on the environment variables from system properties tab.
4. In fourth step ,click on new button in User variables.
5. In fifth step, variable name and variable value:
          Variable name->path
       Variable value->C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_05\bin
6. In final step click ok , on all open window.
